Алексей Мякишев 52года, родился в городе Кирове (Вятка),
профессиональный фотокорреспондент.
С 1991 по 1999 годах работает в различных газетах города Кирова.
В 1999 году переезжает в Москву и становится свободным фотографом.
Сотрудничает с российскими и зарубежными изданиями. Среди них
“Русский Newsweek”, “Коммерсант”, “ Helsingin Sanomat”
, “APU”, “Talouselama”(Финляндия) и многие другие.
В данный момент работает над несколькими документальными
проектами, посвященными провинциальной России.
Призер Интерфото в 1998 и 2001 году, стипендиат Министерства
Культуры РФ в 1996 и 1997 году.Призер конкурсов
“Bestphotographer”, “The Best of Russia”, “Премия ФРФ”, “Sony World
Photography Awards.”
Преподаватель образовательной программы “Leica-Akademia”.В багаже
участие во множественных коллективных выставках, а также
персональные выставки в России, Франции, Германии, Канаде,
Италии, Чехии, Австрии.
Фотографии хранятся в муниципальной библиотеке города

Aleksey Myakishev, 52, born in Kirov (Vyatka), professional photographer.From 1991 to 1999 worked for different newspapers in the city of Kirov, in 1999 moved to Moscow and became a freelance photographer.
He is contributor of multiple Russian and foreign publications, including “The Russian Newsweek, ” “Kommersant, ” “Helsingin Sanomat, ” “APU, ” “Talouselama” (Finland), among others.
Currently, he is working on a number of documentary projects on Provincial Russia.
Recipient of the Interphoto award in 1998 and 2001; recipient of Ministry of Culture of Russia scholarships in 1996 and 1997; awarded “Bestphotographer, ” “The Best of Russia, ” “The FRF Prize, ” “Sony World Photography Awards.”
Instructor of educational program “Leica-Akademia.” Works have been exhibited in numerous collective and personal exhibitions in Russia, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Czech Republic, and Austria.
His photographic works are kept at the municipal library of the city of Auxerre (France), the “Leica-Russia” collection, the Pushkin Museum, the Museum of Organic Culture, and in multiple private collections in Germany, France, Spain, Austria, Italy, and Russia.
